Apprentice Assembly Operative
Raytec Ltd are excited to be increasing our team with the addition of an Apprentice Assembly Operative. The role will offer the opportunity to gain hands on experience in a busy manufacturing company, whilst working towards a Lean Manufacturing Level 2 qualification.
Purpose of the Role
· To work on a production line building electronic lighting assemblies to a high quality at an appropriate production rate
· To learn lean manufacturing techniques and complete NVQ Level 2
Location
The role of Apprentice Assembly Operative is based at our Head Office in Ashington.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
· Product build, testing and packing to agreed quality standards at an appropriate rate of production
· Complete paperwork as required.
· Support with regular cycle counts and stock checks.
· To maintain required housekeeping standards.
· Actively participate in continuous improvement activity.
· Complete NVQ Level 2 in Lean Manufacturing
· Gain a good understanding of manufacturing through continuous training.
· Other production related activity as requested
