We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrical Improver to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with electrical installation experience who is looking to develop their skills and progress within the industry.
Working alongside qualified electricians, you will assist with a variety of commercial, renewable, and domestic electrical projects while maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship.
Experience with Solar P.V would be very advantageous, full Solar P.V and Battery Storage training and qualifications will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair work.
- Installing cable containment systems including tray, basket, trunking, and conduit.
- Pulling and terminating cables under supervision.
- Assisting with testing and inspection activities.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
- Ensuring work areas are kept clean, safe, and organised.
- Complying with all health and safety regulations on site.
Requirements
- ECS/CSCS Electrical Card.
- Previous experience working as an Electrical Improver.
- Good understanding of electrical installation practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
Desirable Qualifications
- Level 2 or Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- IPAF and/or PASMA certification.
