We are looking for a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing exceptional bespoke furniture and cabinetry to the highest standards.
The Role
Working within our modern workshop, you will manufacture bespoke cabinetry and furniture from technical drawings, producing one-off pieces that showcase outstanding craftsmanship. You'll work with a variety of premium materials and finishes, ensuring every project leaves the workshop ready for installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture bespoke cabinetry and fitted furniture from detailed technical drawings.
- Produce high-quality joinery for kitchens, wardrobes, media units, libraries, home offices, and specialist furniture.
- Assemble and finish bespoke cabinets to exceptional standards.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Work with solid timber, veneers, MDF, plywood, laminates, and decorative panel products.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop.
- Work closely with colleagues to meet project deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a Cabinet Maker within a bespoke joinery or furniture manufacturing environment.
- Can confidently interpret technical and production drawings.
- Has excellent woodworking and cabinet-making skills.
- Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and pride in their work.
- Is experienced using both woodworking machinery and traditional hand tools.
- Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality.
Desirable Experience
- Manufacturing luxury fitted furniture and bespoke interiors.
- Working with veneers, solid timber, and high-quality sheet materials.
- Experience with modern cabinet construction techniques and premium hardware.
- Relevant woodworking or joinery qualifications.
