We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our catering team at St Leonards School in St Andrews.
Working with Sodexo, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen, helping to provide excellent food service to pupils, staff, and visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive team within a prestigious school environment.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you'll help maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety while supporting the wider catering team. You'll be involved in a variety of tasks, ensuring the kitchen and service areas remain clean, organised, and ready for service.
What you'll do:

Supporting the catering team during food service periods

Operating and maintaining dishwashing and cleaning equipment

Cleaning kitchen, wash-up, and food service areas to a high standard

Assisting with stock movement and storage of deliveries

Ensuring all health, safety, food hygiene, and COSHH procedures are followed

Reporting any equipment faults, food safety concerns, or maintenance issues

Supporting special events and functions when required

Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
