We are seeking a motivated and energetic Removal Man to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of goods during removals and deliveries. Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload items from delivery vans or trucks, ensuring proper handling of fragile or heavy goods
- Assist with packing, wrapping, and securing items to prevent damage during transit
- Drive company vans or trucks to transport goods between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or boxes safely, minimizing risk of injury
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or loading area
- Complete relevant documentation such as delivery logs, inventory checklists, and incident reports as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a warehouse environment is highly desirable
- Valid driving license suitable for operating vans or light commercial vehicles (e.g., category B license)
- Experience in commercial driving, including safe vehicle operation and navigation skills
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and logistics operations is a plus
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks involving lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
