Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and experience working within a warehouse or industrial environment. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills and contribute to the smooth running of our production line.

Responsibilities

Operate various manufacturing and assembly machinery in accordance with safety protocols and operational guidelines
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, and repairs as required
Assist in the assembly of products, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations
Monitor production outputs and report any issues or malfunctions promptly
Support warehouse activities including loading, unloading, and inventory management when necessary

Requirements

Proven experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial setting is preferred
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely
Experience with assembly processes and equipment operation
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and lift materials up to 20kg when required
Basic literacy and numeracy skills for documentation purposes
Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
