OverviewWe're looking for a hardworking, dedicated and reliable person to join our Workwear & Embroidery Department.
We're not looking for someone who just talks a good game, we're looking for someone who shows up, gets stuck in and delivers. We don't expect perfection, but we do value honesty, commitment, initiative and a strong work ethic. If you take pride in doing a job properly and enjoy being part of a busy team, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You'll be involved in all aspects of our workwear and embroidery department, helping to ensure customers receive excellent service and high-quality products.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with customers in person, over the phone and via email, providing friendly, professional service.
- Helping customers choose suitable workwear, embroidery and printing options to meet their needs.
- Preparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately.
- Ordering stock and liaising with suppliers to ensure products arrive on time.
- Operating embroidery machinery and assisting with garment decoration
- Checking garments and finished orders for quality before dispatch or collection.
- Packing and preparing customer orders.
- Keeping the work area organised, tidy and running efficiently.
- Working with colleagues to meet deadlines and maintain high standards.
- Assisting with stock control, inventory management and general department administration.
- Understanding the importance of pricing, margins and profitability, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently to help the department remain commercially successful.
- Looking for ways to improve efficiency, reduce waste and provide the best possible service to our customers.
The Ideal Person Will Be:
- Punctual and dependable.
- Hardworking and self-motivated.
- Dedicated to doing a good job every day.
- Willing to learn new skills and continually improve.
- Someone who takes pride in their work.
- Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with customers.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- A team player with a positive attitude, while also being capable of working independently.
- Computer literate and comfortable using order processing systems and email.
Experience in workwear, embroidery, garment decoration or customer service would be an advantage, but it's not essential. We're happy to provide training for the right person. What matters most is your attitude, reliability and willingness to work hard.
If you're someone who lets your work speak for itself, enjoys helping customers and wants to be part of a growing business where your contribution genuinely matters, we'd love to hear from you.
