Responsible for operating a Laser cutting machine.

Main tasks of job:

Loading/unloading the machine of material.
Operating machine whilst using ERP system to validate each job.
Packaging of parts ready for its next operation or delivery to customers.
General maintenance of machine and work area to keep a tidy and efficient work space.

Skills needed:

Basic IT skills is essential.
Being able to work within a team.
Punctual, polite and willing to learn.
Counter balance fork lift licence preferential.
Experience of running a laser cutter is preferable but not essential, on-site training will be given.

Working hours and holidays:

42.5 hours per week.
Overtime almost always available and is paid at 1.5x basic for the first 6.5 hours per week then 2x basic.
20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays
For each full calendar year worked you receive an extra days holiday up to a maximum of 25 days per year (plus bank holidays)
Wage will be negotiated by experience

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
