1. Long Term Conditions Care Coordinator and Receptionist/Administrator
Permanent – 34 hours 45 minutes per week
Working Pattern
- Monday: 1:15 pm – 6:30 pm (5 hours 15 minutes)
- Tuesday: 1:15 pm – 6:30 pm (5 hours 15 minutes)
- Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (1-hour unpaid break) – 9 hours 30 minutes
- Thursday: 8:00 am – 1:15 pm (5 hours 15 minutes)
- Friday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (1-hour unpaid break) – 9 hours 30 minutes
Total contracted hours: 35 hours 45 minutes per week
2. GP Receptionist/Administrator
Fixed-Term Maternity Cover (12 months) – 30.5 hours per week
Working Pattern
- Monday: 8:00 am – 1:15 pm (5 hours 15 minutes)
- Tuesday: 8:00 am – 1:15 pm (5 hours 15 minutes)
- Wednesday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (30-minute unpaid break) – 10 hours
- Friday: 8:00 am – 6:30 pm (30-minute unpaid break) – 10 hours
Total contracted hours: 30.5 hours per week
Flexibility
Successful applicants must be flexible and willing to work both morning (8:00 am – 1:15 pm) and afternoon (1:15 pm – 6:30 pm) shifts as required. This includes swapping shifts with colleagues and providing cover for annual leave, sickness, and other staff absences to help maintain a high-quality service throughout the week.
Annual Leave
- 28 days' annual leave (pro rata), inclusive of Bank Holidays.
About You
We are looking for an experienced GP Receptionist/Administrator with previous experience in a GP practice. You should be confident using EMIS Web and have experience with:
- Telephone call handling
- e-Referrals
- Docman
- Online consultations
- Prescription processing
- Patient registrations and deductions
- General administrative duties
Excellent communication, organisational skills and a professional, patient-focused approach are essential.
