Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Facilities Department as an FM Supervisor Catering on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) basis. This role will be based across multiple campuses.

Who are TMC?

The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Level 3 Management qualification or willing to work towards.
Catering level 2 NVQ or city and guilds or above.
IOSH Managing Safely.
Experience of managing a large and sometimes remote team.
Experience of carrying out HACCP, COSHH, Risk Assessments and industry legal compliance audits / checks.
Experience in carrying out task-based risk assessments.
Experience in the preparation of all food provisions and adapt menus to meet seasonal changes.
Ability to prioritise, plan and respond to operational demands effectively.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident IT user, in particular MS Office.
Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching. Ability to train and develop. Ability to foster a culture of teamwork.
Ability to influence change.
