Role Overview:
Salary: £30.00 per hour
Hours: 0800 - 1800 (10 hours per shift, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break)
Location: Basildon, Essex
Contract: Locum based
Role Summary:
Mamedica are looking to recruit a locum Pharmacist to join our Dispensary team, based in Basildon, Essex, at our distance selling dispensary (no face to face patient contact.)
Role Duties:
- Carrying out the final accuracy check on dispensed medications.
- Clinically screening prescriptions
- Ensuring adherence to SOPs to medication handling, storage, dispensing and documentation
- Confirming proper storage of medication according to their specific requirements, such as temperature, light exposure and humidity
Qualification/Experience for Role:
- Master’s degree in pharmacy or equivalent
- Valid GPhC registration
- Experience working as a qualified pharmacist
- Experience working within a busy community pharmacy preferred
