BW Solicitors is a trusted and expanding law firm, with an established office in Ilford, London and a growing presence in Colchester, Essex. We are a Clio-powered, fully paperless practice offering a modern, efficient approach to legal service delivery across Immigration & Asylum, Family & Children, Wills & Probate, Landlord & Tenant, Civil Disputes, Money Claims, Criminal Defence/Motoring Offences, Business Contract Reviews, and legal services for small and medium businesses (SMEs).
As part of our expansion, we are recruiting across two tracks: an experienced Fee Earner to help build our Colchester and Ilford caseload on a fee-sharing basis, and Paralegals, Interns, and Placement/Work Experience candidates for talented, focused, and driven LLB graduates and law students. OPPORTUNITY 1
Fee Earner – Colchester & Ilford, Essex
Fee-Sharing Basis | Minimum 2-3 Years PQE
We're looking for a driven Fee Earner with a minimum of 3 years PQE to join us across our Colchester and Ilford offices. This is a genuine opportunity to build a caseload and a career within an established and ambitious firm, with flexibility to work from either location depending on your circumstances and client base.

- Ilford — Olympic House, 28–42 Clements Road, Ilford IG1 1BA (our established head office)

About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE
- Immigration & Asylum experience preferred; other practice area experience welcome

About You

Skills Required
- Excellent communication skills — the role may involve telephone calls and correspondence with existing and prospective clients
- Brilliant drafting skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong written and spoken English
- Good research and analytical skills
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident using IT systems and case management software (training provided on Clio)
- Professional, client-focused manner and a strong sense of confidentiality
