Synergy Style UK is a fast-growing home improvement companyspecialising in windows, doors, conservatories, roofing and external renovations. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and highly organised Sales Order Processor to join our operations team.
This is not an entry-level administration role. We are seeking someone with previous experience within the window, door, glazing, conservatory, or home improvement industry who understands surveys, technical specifications, ordering processes and installation logistics.
The Role
You will take ownership of projects from survey stage throughto installation, ensuring orders are technically accurate, processed correctly, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing and cross-checking survey documents for accuracy
- Identifying missing information and resolving discrepancies
- Preparing orders for pricing and approval
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Raising purchase orders with suppliers
- Ordering windows, doors, glass units and associated products
- Liaising with suppliers regarding lead times and deliveries
- Managing installation schedules and fitting programmes
- Coordinating survey appointments and installation dates
- Tracking order progress from survey through to completion
- Updating internal systems and project trackers
- Resolving supplier and installation-related issues
- Working closely with sales, surveyors, fitters and management
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience within the glazing, windows, doors, conservatory or home improvement industry
- Strong understanding of survey sheets and technical specifications
- Experience processing orders with suppliers
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Desirable
- Experience ordering from industry suppliers
- Knowledge of PVCu, aluminium, composite doors and glazing products
- Experience scheduling surveyors and installation teams
- Understanding of installation processes and building regulations
