We are looking for an experienced, analytical and results-driven PPC Specialist to join our team.
The primary focus of this role will be the management, optimisation and growth of our paid advertising campaigns, particularly across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads.
We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about PPC, understands how to turn advertising spend into profitable growth, and is confident taking full ownership of campaign performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of our Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts, from campaign creation through to ongoing optimisation.
- Build, manage and optimise Search, Performance Max, Display and remarketing campaigns where appropriate.
- Conduct keyword research and continually improve keyword targeting, search terms and negative keyword strategies.
- Develop and test compelling ad copy to improve click-through and conversion rates.
- Manage campaign budgets and bidding strategies to maximise ROI and ROAS.
- Monitor key performance metrics including CPC, CPL, CPA, conversion rates and overall campaign profitability.
- Analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to increase lead volume while reducing acquisition costs.
- Carry out ongoing A/B testing across campaigns, ads, audiences and landing pages.
- Ensure accurate conversion tracking is in place across advertising platforms.
- Analyse the quality of leads generated and work with the wider team to improve campaign targeting.
- Produce clear performance reports and recommendations based on campaign data.
- Continually identify new PPC opportunities, keywords, audiences and campaign strategies.
- Stay up to date with developments across Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising and the wider PPC landscape.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven hands-on experience managing successful PPC campaigns.
- Strong experience with Google Ads, including campaign creation, optimisation and reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Advertising.
- A strong understanding of PPC metrics including CPC, CPL, CPA, ROAS and conversion rates.
- Experience managing advertising budgets and being accountable for campaign performance.
- Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience optimising campaigns specifically for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- An understanding of conversion tracking and attribution.
- The ability to analyse campaign data and turn it into clear, actionable improvements.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to testing, optimisation and continuous improvement.
Desirable
While PPC will be the primary focus of the role, experience or knowledge in the following areas would be advantageous:
- GA4 Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- SEO and organic search
- Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
- Landing page optimisation and A/B testing
- Looker Studio and marketing dashboards
- CRM and lead tracking systems
- Call tracking and attribution
- Marketing automation
- Advanced conversion and event tracking
- Understanding the customer journey from click → lead → sale → revenue
- Experience analysing lead quality and sales conversion data
- Experience working within a lead-generation business
About You
You'll be someone who doesn't simply monitor PPC campaigns, you'll actively look for ways to improve them.
You'll be comfortable taking ownership of advertising performance, analysing data, testing new approaches and making informed decisions about where budget should be invested.
You'll understand that generating more clicks isn't the objective. The goal is to generate high-quality leads and customers at a commercially sustainable acquisition cost.
We're particularly interested in someone who can look beyond the headline Google Ads metrics and understand how PPC contributes to lead quality, sales conversion and ultimately revenue.
If you're a PPC specialist who enjoys being hands-on, analysing data and continually improving campaign performance, we'd love to hear from you.
Apply now and play a key role in driving the next stage of our digital growth.
