Full job description

GTG Training – Renault Trucks

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 and bonus opportunities
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4.30pm, no weekend work required

GTG Training is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to become a Technical Trainer.

This is an excellent opportunity to move from the workshop into a rewarding training role, helping develop the next generation of technicians.

What you’ll be doing

Training apprentices and commercial delegates towards industry-recognised qualifications at GTG’s training centre.
Delivering practical and classroom-based training.
Assessing learner progress.
Maintaining training records.
Supporting apprentices throughout their development.

What we’re looking for from you

No teaching experience is required – we’ll provide full training and support to gain a teaching qualification
Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
Strong heavy vehicle maintenance experience
Electrical diagnostics and modern vehicle technology knowledge
Strong communication skills and enthusiasm
Full UK driving licence
