Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Head Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and exceptional service. Your leadership will inspire the kitchen team, maintain strict food safety standards, and foster a positive, efficient working environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while managing food production and team coordination in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

Assist the Head Chef in supervising all kitchen activities, ensuring smooth daily operations
Lead food preparation and cooking processes to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Manage and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to promote teamwork and high performance
Oversee food safety procedures, hygiene standards, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure timely serving of dishes and customer satisfaction
Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and minimizing waste
Contribute to menu planning, recipe development, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Extensive kitchen experience across various culinary styles and cuisines
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hospitality settings
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and service delivery
Previous restaurant experience with a focus on serving high-quality dishes
