About the role:
The School wishes to appoint 4 part-time Associate Clinical Facilitators to join its enthusiastic and committed teaching team, teaching on a range of medical education programmes including the MBBS and Physician Associate programmes. This is an ideal career development opportunity, not only to gain teaching experience, but also to provide an insight into academic roles and potential career pathways. The post is for two days per week and to include Wednesday.
The postholders will support the delivery of small group learning for students across a range of sessions including science tutorials, and workshops exploring topics relating to Professionalism, Equality Diversity & Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, Bystander, Clinical skills, and weekly case sessions.
This is a fixed term opportunity which is designed to give new clinicians development and experience of working within academia, in addition to giving our students exposure to clinicians with recent and up to date relevant clinical skills.
About you:
Applicants will have a primary healthcare qualification, and experience of facilitating learning in small groups and working to standards required of professional bodies.
