Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Minister of Religion (Associate Pastor) to CAC PALACE OF GRACE ,The successful candidate will play a vital role in spiritual leadership, pastoral care, assisting the senior pastor in all pastoral duties when needed and community engagement. This position offers an opportunity to inspire and support individuals across all age groups, fostering spiritual growth and community cohesion through various programmes and initiatives. The role requires a committed individual with strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills, who is passionate about serving others and upholding the values of our organisation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver sermons, teachings, and religious services that resonate with the congregation’s beliefs and values.
- Provide pastoral care and counselling to individuals and families in need, including those experiencing grief or hospice care situations.
- Lead community outreach programmes, including organising fundraising events and engaging with local organisations to promote community well-being.
- Mentor and support members of the congregation, including youth groups and volunteers, fostering their spiritual development.
- Organise religious education classes for children, youth, and adults to deepen understanding of faith principles.
- Collaborate with church leadership on strategic planning, programme development, and community initiatives.
- Offer guidance on moral and ethical issues faced by congregants in their personal lives.
- Participate in hospital or hospice visits to provide spiritual support to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching religious principles and leading worship services.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire others within the congregation and wider community.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect effectively with diverse audiences.
- Prior experience working as a church pastor or leader
- Demonstrated mentoring abilities with a compassionate approach to pastoral care.
- Experience in hospice care or providing support during end-of-life situations is advantageous.
- Ability to organise fundraising activities and manage community engagement projects efficiently.
- A recognised qualification in theology or ministry is preferred but not essential for highly experienced candidates.

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
