An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Suffolk Dietetic service. The department consists of 43 Dietitians, Nurses, Support staff and administrators providing an integrated service to West Suffolk Hospital and the wider community. The West Suffolk Dietetic service is forward thinking, innovative and friendly department. We fully support and encourage self-development within our service.
We are seeking a Band 5/6 Dietitian to join our dynamic paediatric team consisting of different specialities and general dietetics. We are looking to recruit a dietitian that has some knowledge of paediatric dietetics and some experience of working with paediatric patients in a dietetic department. Ideally, they would also have experience in managing enterally fed patients. There will be opportunities to develop skills further in this area and training will be provided.
The role will involve managing 1-2 clinics a week and providing dietetic care to home enterally fed paediatric patients with the support from the senior paediatric dietitian and nutrition nursing team. The postholder will be involved in carrying out audits and service development with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through CPD.
