Veterinary Client Care Team Member
Client-Facing & Administration | Part-time
You will work Mondays to Friday, 6pm to 10:30pm.

Are you passionate and committed to delivering outstanding customer service?

Cambridge Night Vets are recruiting a colleague to join our client care and front of house team. We are looking for a friendly, organised, and compassionate person to join our team on a part-time basis.

This is a predominantly client-facing role, combining front-of-house duties with structured administrative responsibilities. You will be the welcoming face and voice of our specialist referral hospital, supporting clients, referring practices, and the clinical team through excellent communication and accurate admin support.

Key responsibilities include:

Welcoming clients and their pets in person and acting as the first point of contact
Answering incoming phone calls
Taking payments accurately and professionally
Booking and managing appointments
Collecting and entering client and patient data
Responding to email enquiries and sending required documentation
Explaining processes, fees, insurance information, and next steps to clients
Supporting general administrative and office tasks

About you:

Friendly, professional, and confident when dealing with clients
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Comfortable handling payments and sensitive information
Computer literate and confident using practice management systems
Calm and compassionate when supporting worried or stressed clients
A team player with a proactive approach

Veterinary reception experience desirable. May suit Veterinary Nurses wishing to move to a part time non- clinical role.
