Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to engage with customers, ensure a welcoming environment, and contribute to the overall success of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Duties

Greet all visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a positive first impression
Manage reservations and walk-in enquiries efficiently and courteously
Assist customers with their needs, providing information about services or products offered
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale system
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area to ensure a tidy environment
Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage social media interactions as required
Support team members in organising events or special functions when necessary
Uphold health and safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with company policies

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is desirable but not essential
Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office; familiarity with booking systems is a plus
Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if required
A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential for representing the organisation effectively
