Duties
- Assist in the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, and Ruby on Rails.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate APIs and RESTful services for various applications.
- Maintain version control using tools like Git, SVN, and GitHub, ensuring code integrity and traceability.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging sessions, and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Support application development on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, ensuring scalable and secure solutions.
- Write efficient SQL queries for MySQL and SQL Server databases; assist in database design optimisation.
- Contribute to the automation of deployment processes and continuous integration workflows.
- Document technical specifications and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
Skills
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails,.NET frameworks, VBA, Linux environments, and application development best practices.
- Experience with front-end development frameworks and tools is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with version control systems including Git, SVN, and experience using GitHub repositories.
- Knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), RESTful services, AWS cloud services, and Azure platform integration.
- Strong understanding of SQL databases such as MySQL and SQL Server; ability to write optimised queries.
- Experience working with Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces.
- Software development experience across multiple programming languages; understanding of software lifecycle processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
