Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous janitorial experience or those looking to develop their skills within a professional cleaning environment. The ideal applicant will be organised, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Clean and sanitise toilets, sinks, and other sanitary fittings in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, and surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet rolls as needed
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of client premises

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is advantageous
Ability to carry out physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
