An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to support the Personal Assistant (PA) to the Managing Director. The successful candidate will be based on site. This role requires a professional who can handle a dynamic workload with discretion, efficiency, and attention to detail.
What you’ll be doing:
You will provide administrative and organisational support to the Managing Director’s office, ensuring seamless coordination of schedules, communications and daily operations, you will be trusted to handle sensitive information securely and ensure processes are delivered to a high standard within agreed timescales. You will manage meetings and correspondence with professionalism and discretion, maintain confidential records, and support the smooth running of the office through effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate complex schedules, meetings and correspondence to support the Managing Director’s office
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure efficient day-to-day office operations
- Organise VIP visits ensuring all arrangements and itineraries are delivered to an exceptional standard
What you’ll bring:
You will be an organised, detail focused administrator with strong IT skills and a proactive approach to problem solving.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, you will communicate clearly, handle sensitive information with discretion and take ownership of your responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience in an administrative or office support role with a good standard of education
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Terms and Conditions
Basic Annual Income – Starting salary of £26,807, to a maximum of £37,030 depending on experience.
Working Hours – 37.9 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday as a non-working day.
Annual Holiday Entitlement – 25 days annual leave, 8 public holidays, 2.5 privilege holidays
Contract Duration – 12 month contract.
Security Clearance – The successful candidate will be required to undergo security clearance checks.
