Self employed Driving Opportunities in the Cornwall area, load up in St Austell.

Stirland Transportation has a fantastic opportunity for Self employed drivers to join our team now!

We are looking for drivers to operate on a 5-6 days per week basis. Days to be agreed.

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. As a Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our company's reputation for quality service.

· 4 Weekly Pay: Get paid for your services every 4 weeks.

· Training & Uniform Provided: We'll give you the training and uniform you need to get started.

· Van for professional and personal use: No Lease fees!

· Day Rate: £152.80 per day, No van hire fees, You only pay for your fuel! (discounted fuel using a fuel card!)

· 5-6 days per week - Overtime is available,

We're looking for reliable drivers with a full UK licence and Right to Work in the UK.

Duties

Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans.
Load and unload products, ensuring that items are secured properly during transit.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems to optimise delivery routes.
Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.

Experience

Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and warehouse operations is advantageous.
A valid driving licence.
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and team members.
Ability to work independently while also being part of a team environment.
