THE FELLOWS HOUSE, CAMBRIDGE
Marketing Executive
Full Time • Permanent • Cambridge, CB4 1UZ
We’re not your average hotel – and we’re not looking for your average marketer.
The Fellows House is one of Cambridge’s most distinctive hotels – part of the Hilton Curio Collection and deeply rooted in the life of this extraordinary city. We’re on the lookout for a creative, driven Marketing Executive who’s ready to make their mark.
This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing for an independent spirited hotel with a global brand behind it, in one of the most recognisable cities in the world. You’ll have real ownership, real creative freedom and a team that backs you.
You’ll be the voice of The Fellows House – to our guests, to Cambridge and to the wider world. From building community partnerships to running social media campaigns, you’ll shape how people discover and fall in love with this place.
- Own our social media – keep it current, on-brand, and genuinely engaging across all platforms.
- Design and deliver a 12-month marketing calendar covering events, promotions and seasonal content.
- Create compelling content: newsletters, blogs, case studies, flyers and adverts – all aligned to our brand.
- Build relationships with Cambridge organisations, university bodies and local partners to drive awareness.
- Collaborate with PR and social media agencies to deliver targeted, consistent campaigns.
- Develop detailed marketing proposals with timelines, budgets and SMART objectives.
- Produce evaluation reports that tell the story of what’s working and why.
- Use your Cambridge knowledge to shape in room materials, QR codes, digital content and more.
- Represent The Fellows House at local networking events and external forums.
- Work with the Director of Sales and Marketing to align campaigns to wider commercial goals.
- Support training initiatives and help build a learning culture within your department.
You love a good campaign. You’re the person who spots an opportunity and runs with it – and you bring people with you when you do.
The essentials:
- At least 2 years’ experience in marketing, ideally in hospitality, leisure or tourism.
- Strong writing skills and a sharp eye for detail.
- Confident managing social media platforms and digital content.
- Comfortable managing budgets and working to targets.
- UK citizen or valid work permit.
What sets you apart:
- You’re a confident communicator, whether writing copy, presenting ideas or networking in the room.
- You’re customer focused and quick to anticipate what guests and visitors want.
- You thrive working independently but know how to collaborate with a diverse team.
- You’re open to new ideas and genuinely curious about the world around you.
- You manage your time well and stay calm when things get busy.
We offer more than just a job. You’ll join a team that cares about doing things properly, treats people as individuals, and genuinely invests in the people who work here.
- A competitive salary.
- A real platform to shape strategy and make your ideas happen.
- A unique working environment in one of the UK’s most iconic cities.
- Access to Hilton’s global network, resources and brand standards.
- A culture built on empowerment, learning and doing things well.
