Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Digger Driver to join our dynamic construction team. Duties
- Operate excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machines with precision and safety in mind
- Perform site excavation, grading, trenching, and material movement to prepare construction sites for development
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to execute construction plans efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment on-site
- Assist with the setup of construction equipment and materials at various locations across the project site
- Document operational activities and report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
Experience
- Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, horizontal drills, and paving equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with experience driving large vehicles in a construction setting
- Extensive construction site experience with an understanding of safety procedures and site logistics
- Familiarity with Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience in excavation projects involving horizontal drilling or paving operations is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
