Working hours: 37.5 per week
Working Pattern:
Hours based on a roster working a 6-day week with one day off & a 4 day week with 3 days off.
Monday - Thursday 1400-2200, Friday 1330 - 2130 & Saturday 0900 - 1700
What You Will Be Doing
As a Dangerous Goods Agent, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient handling of regulated shipments. Your responsibilities will include:
Acting as a local point of contact for Dangerous Goods compliance and operational guidance.
Applying regulatory requirements, company policies, and operational procedures to the acceptance, handling, storage, and movement of Dangerous Goods.
Conducting checks to ensure shipments meet applicable legal and company requirements.
Identifying, escalating, and supporting the resolution of non-compliant shipments.
Maintaining current knowledge of relevant Dangerous Goods regulations and company requirements.
Supporting operational teams with guidance on the safe handling of regulated materials.
Reporting and escalating incidents, spills, misdeclared shipments, and compliance concerns in accordance with company procedures.
Contributing to audits, investigations, and corrective actions where required.
Promoting a strong culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Maintaining any required qualifications, certifications, and recurrent training relevant to the role.

Basic IT literacy and the ability to accurately complete records, reports, and operational documentation.
Desirable
Previous experience working within a regulated, compliance, logistics, transport, aviation, or Dangerous Goods environment.
Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations, including ADR, IATA, IMDG, or equivalent frameworks.
Experience supporting operational teams in a safety or compliance-focused role.
