About the role
You will be responsible for welcoming all visitors visiting Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
As part of this role, you will:
- Provide a warm welcome to all customers, delivering a consistently high standard ensuring a positive Visitor experience and Customer satisfaction, promoting Customer advocacy and maximising Value of Reception
- Referral point for staff and colleagues within Organisation, supporting the business by providing contact point to all Colleagues as and when required.
- Managing the arrival and security of all visitors and staff to the company, operating badge access system in line with company security policies. Monitoring and reporting any security issues, preventing any breach of security at point of entrance which ensures security and integrity of the building.
- Provide an efficient switchboard service re-directing all calls received to the correct destination ensuring efficient customer service.
- Delivering high quality customer service in Reception administration which includes all relevant inboxes, as well as administration of additional tasks within organisation, providing essential assistance to other departments.
- Administration of meeting room bookings process as required, authorising and overseeing customer focussed meeting facilities, managing hospitality requests, ensuring maximisation of the meeting room resource.
- Administration of Pool Cars, bikes and Parking, arranging bookings ensuring correct procedures are followed in line with company policies and insurance purposes.
- Ensure all records and information are up to date and easily accessible for audit purpose
- Be part of a team covering our 3 Cambridge based reception desks on a rotation.
About You
As a receptionist, you will need to have experience of providing high quality customer service. You'll also need to be comfortable using Microsoft Office products. You'll have attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
