As a Statistician & Data Manager, you'll play a key role in transforming complex scientific data into meaningful insights that support critical research and drug development programmes. Working within a highly regulated GxP environment, you'll apply your statistical expertise to deliver high-quality analyses, validate methods, manage study data, and ensure results are accurate, compliant, and delivered on time.
You'll work closely with laboratory teams, operational stakeholders, sponsors, and quality teams, providing expert guidance on statistical approaches, experimental design, and data interpretation. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will help ensure the integrity of scientific data throughout the study lifecycle.
This is a dual-role opportunity that offers a blend of statistician and data management responsibilities. You will be responsible for applying statistical methods to support immunoassay studies, while also conducting key bioanalytical data management activities.
What will you be doing?
-
Deliver high-quality statistical analysis on method validation and sample analysis data, producing statistical reports and output and data files to required timelines using the appropriate specialist software
-
Deliver data management activities in support of LC-MS and immunoassay departments where required, such as sample reconciliation requests and the formatting of data to appropriate specifications
-
QC check statistical analysis, reports and data files ensuring consistency with source data, data transfer agreements, plans and other study documentation
-
Write, QC check and maintain scripts and template code
- Clearly communicate the outcome of statistical analysis to Operational staff and Sponsors, and provide advice on experimental design and approaches to statistical analysis
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and collaborating across functions to drive successful project outcomes. You'll be encouraged to share ideas, improve processes, and continuously develop your expertise while contributing to a supportive and collaborative team environment.
You'll also have:
- A sound understanding of bioanalytical and regulatory processes used in Immunoassay
-
Experience with applying statistic methods to data, ideally in accordance with GxP guidance and expectations
-
Experience of working within a regulated environment
- Proficiency in a range of laboratory and data management systems, including LIMS, Excel, SAS and WinNonlin
-
Excellent attention to detail
-
Experience of working with SOPs and study documents
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to stakeholders at varying levels
-
Confidence to act as a subject matter expert and provide advice and feedback where necessary
If you are confident in collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality, scientifically robust outputs, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
