We are looking to recruit a Senior Assessment Manager to apply ELT and assessment expertise to the production of content for IELTS, and to coordinate relevant processes, projects and people within IELTS and across the organisation.

About the Role
As a Senior Assessment Manager, you will play an important role in producing high-quality IELTS test content, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the professional development of your team. You'll manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contribute to strategic decisions, and help deliver assessments to millions of test takers around the world.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the production and final sign-off of IELTS test content, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency
- Coordinating quality assurance for marking and results determination
- Supporting and guiding component-level teams and Assessment Specialists
- Escalating risk and implementing mitigations
- Leading recruitment, onboarding, and development of team members
- Representing Cambridge expertise in operational decisions and external forums
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. About You
You'll bring:
- A recognised entry-level EFL/ESL teaching qualification (or relevant qualification/experience)
- Degree-level education (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of language assessment theory and practice
- Practical English language teaching experience or similar background
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to evaluate test content and ensure compliance
- Effective communication, planning, and decision-making skills
- Experience managing high-stakes test content production, and working in complex environments
