Overview

Shefford Dental Practice is a respected independent private dental practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care across a wide range of treatments, including general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, facial aesthetics, whitening, and preventative care. Located in the heart of Shefford, Bedfordshire, we have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and professional environment. What We Are Looking For?

A general dentist, who is committed to providing high quality treatment.

A dentist who is comfortable in a fast paced environment, and who is confident in their own abilities.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, meticulous, flexible to different working styles and team orientated.

Hours

3-4 days per week, 9.00-18.00.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using clinical assessments and medical imaging tools.
Develop personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, explaining procedures clearly and compassionately.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive measures, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry through continuous professional development activities.

Requirements

Fully qualified Dentist with valid registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
Proficiency in using medical imaging techniques for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Experience providing private dental treatments
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex procedures clearly to patients.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to clinical guidelines.
