The role: anything but ordinary
This role is about movement, engagement, and sharp observation. You will be the face and the eyes of our estate.
Out & about
- You won't just be walking; you’ll be conducting high-visibility patrols using our electric vehicles, ensuring every corner of our estate is safe, secure, and operating smoothly.
Surveillance systems
- You will operate our state-of-the-art Video Surveillance System (VSS/CCTV), using your natural "nosey" attributes to monitor activity, spot anomalies, and act decisively
Community engagement
- You will form a core part of the estate community. You’ll interact daily with world-leading scientists, innovators, tenants, and visitors, delivering first-class customer service with a smile.
First responder
- When the unexpected happens, you are the calm, collected professional who steps up. From medical emergencies to facilities issues, you will take charge, coordinate with your team, and ensure a swift resolution.

What you need
- Attitude: We hire for attitude and train for skill.
- Licensing: An active SIA Security Guard (or Door Supervisor) Licence is essential for this role
- Public Space Surveillance (PSS) CCTV Licence is desirable; training is available for the right candidates
- Flexibility: Ready to embrace a 12-hour rotating shift pattern (days, nights, and weekends).
