Job Title: Maintenance Assistant (Hotel)

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Maintenance Assistant to support the day-to-day maintenance operations of our hotel. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out basic repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring that hotel facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained to provide an excellent guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
Conduct preventive maintenance checks on hotel equipment and facilities.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
Report major repair requirements to the Maintenance Manager.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hotel maintenance standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance records.
Support emergency maintenance activities whenever required.

Requirements

Previous experience in hotel maintenance, facilities management, or a similar role is preferred.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
