Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Plant Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various welding and fabrication tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. This role requires proficiency in multiple welding techniques and the ability to work with various materials, including sheet metal.
Duties
- Perform MIG and Stick welding on a variety of materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
- Carry out maintenance & repair on plant & Agri equipment
- Fabricate components using hand tools and power tools, following technical drawings and specifications.
- Assemble parts and structures, ensuring accuracy and quality throughout the process.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and resolve any issues that arise during the fabrication process.
Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding, Stick welding, and general welding techniques.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with fabrication processes, including working with sheet metal.
- Competence in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects.
