Full job description

HJMP Flooring Ltd is looking for experienced Carpet and Vinyl Layers to join our growing team. You will be installing high-quality flooring on commercial and residential projects including hotels, restaurants, care homes, offices, and private homes across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities:

Professional installation of carpet, luxury vinyl tiles (LVT), sheet vinyl, and associated flooring products
Subfloor preparation, levelling, and repairs
Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting to a high standard
Working on both occupied and unoccupied sites
Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpet and Vinyl Layer (minimum 2–3 years)
Strong knowledge of commercial and residential flooring installation techniques
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
CSCS card (preferred but not essential)
Full UK driving licence and own transport (van beneficial)
Professional attitude with excellent attention to detail
