Full job description

At A Tavola Pizzeria Restaurant we pride ourselves on serving fresh, delicious, handcrafted pizzas using quality ingredients and traditional techniques. We're now looking for a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our team and help us deliver the best pizza experience to our customers.

Your Role Will Include:

Preparing and cooking pizzas to order using fresh dough and high-quality toppings.

Managing dough preparation, proofing, and stretching by hand (or using pizza press if applicable).

Maintaining a clean, organised and food-safe kitchen environment.

Assisting with stock control, prep lists, and ordering ingredients as needed.

Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure fast, efficient service during busy periods.

Upholding high standards of presentation, hygiene, and consistency.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience making pizza in a busy kitchen environment (wood-fired, stone-baked, or traditional ovens).

Knowledge of dough preparation and proofing techniques.

A genuine passion for food and attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
