Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee MVHR Engineer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the ventilation industry. You'll receive full training while working alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of our installation and aftersales services.
The Role
As a Trainee MVHR Engineer, you will work within both our Installation and Aftersales teams, learning the skills required to become a fully qualified and experienced ventilation engineer.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with the installation of Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) systems.
- Supporting the installation of a variety of domestic and commercial ventilation systems.
- Learning how to commission ventilation systems to ensure they perform efficiently and comply with industry standards.
- Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
- Assisting with fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Replacing and upgrading ventilation units and associated components.
- Travelling to customer sites throughout the UK.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety, and customer service.
- Keeping company vehicles, tools and equipment clean and organised.
- Completing job paperwork and learning to use digital job management systems.
- Working closely with experienced engineers to develop technical knowledge and practical skills.

- Willing to travel across the UK and occasionally stay away overnight if required.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience working within the building or construction trade.
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
- Good practical skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Previous experience with ventilation systems is not required, as full training will be provided.
