Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CDP Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary expertise within a professional environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality dishes that delight our guests. The position is fully paid, reflecting the importance of your skills and commitment.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparing ingredients and components for various dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Cook and assemble meals according to established recipes and standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and hygiene.
Support the head chef in managing daily kitchen operations, including mise en place and stock control.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent service and optimise kitchen efficiency.
Assist with meal presentation, garnishing, and plating to meet aesthetic standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Previous experience in meal preparation and kitchen operations is highly desirable.
Familiarity with restaurant service procedures and serving protocols.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential. This position offers an excellent platform for aspiring chefs eager to enhance their skills within a dynamic culinary setting, where quality and professionalism are paramount.
