Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Duties

Assist skilled tradespeople in various tasks.
Carry out general yard maintenance and cleaning to ensure a safe and tidy working environment.
Load and unload materials and equipment from lorries and transport them to designated areas on site.
Operate basic hand tools and power tools under the supervision of experienced workers.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card

Experience

Previous experience in construction or labour-intensive roles is advantageous but not essential.
Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards on site.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £11.00-£14.00 per hour
