Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Office Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our office environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and will be responsible for ensuring that all areas of the office are kept tidy, organised, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. This role is essential in creating a pleasant working atmosphere and requires a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

The position requires 4hrs of cleaning per week, which can be any day between Monday to Friday at any time between 8am and 4pm.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies.
Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Clean kitchen areas, including washing dishes and wiping down surfaces.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used correctly and stored safely.

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Ability to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning schedules.
Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks efficiently throughout the day.
A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards within the office environment.
