Join Our Small, Expanding Team as a Family Law Paralegal/Legal Assistant

We’re a close-knit, expanding specialist family law firm looking for a passionate and dedicated Paralegal to join our team. If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real difference in people's lives and develop your skills within a supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.

In this role, you will work alongside our solicitors, helping with family law cases and providing essential support throughout the legal process. We are a small firm with expansion plans, so there is plenty of room for growth and the potential for a training contract as you progress.

We offer a mix of home and office working. Experience in family law is definitely a plus, but not essential—what matters most is a genuine interest in family law and a willingness to learn.

Job role:-

Assisting our solicitors with preparing legal documents.
Attendance at Court shadowing counsel and supporting clients.
Conducting legal research to support case preparation and ensuring all relevant information is gathered.
Keeping case files organised and up-to-date, making sure everything is easy to find when needed.
Communicating with clients, other parties, and providing updates and gathering necessary details.
Managing calendars, scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings for our solicitors.
Using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations as needed.
Ensuring all legal procedures and deadlines are met for family law
In this role, anunderstanding of the legal market is desired, along with a proactive approach to supporting the firm's growth. You'll be encouraged to assist with marketing, networking, and business development, helping to build relationships and raise the firm's profile within the legal community.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £25,000.00 per year
