About the Role
We are seeking an organised, professional, and customer-focused Spa Coordinator to oversee the daily operation of the spa and therapist team, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all spa services. This is a hands-on role combining operational management, reception duties, administration, staff coordination, marketing support, and exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards, supporting therapists, and delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Spa Operations & Team Management
- Oversee the daily operation of the spa and therapist team, ensuring treatments and services run smoothly and efficiently.
- Support, supervise, and coordinate therapists to ensure exceptional service standards are maintained.
- Monitor appointment schedules, treatment room utilisation, and therapist productivity.
- Act as the key link between therapists, reception, and management.
- Ensure staffing levels are appropriate through effective rota planning and holiday management.
- Assist in resolving operational issues and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, health and safety, and professionalism throughout the spa.
- Passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience within a spa, leisure, hospitality, or customer service environment.
- Experience supervising or coordinating teams is desirable.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience handling payments, banking procedures, and administrative tasks.
- Ability to manage customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, booking systems, and digital communication platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours, including every other weekend.
