Flusher / General Operative – Cardiff Central

Looking for steady, ongoing work with a reliable Monday–Friday schedule? This Flusher / General Operative role offers consistent daytime hours, a supportive working environment, and the opportunity to build long-term experience in facilities and maintenance.

At Bespoke Career Solutions, we’re working with a trusted client in Cardiff city centre who needs a dependable Flusher / General Operative to join their team immediately.

Your responsibilities as a Flusher / General Operative

As a Flusher / General Operative, you’ll play a key role in maintaining water systems across commercial properties. Your duties will include:

Checking and monitoring taps and water outlets
Flushing systems to maintain water quality
Measuring water pressure levels
Testing water temperature and heat output
Identifying and reporting faults, leaks, or damages
Reporting faulty faucets and fixtures
Completing basic records and reports of checks carried out

What we’re looking for

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Comfortable working independently across sites
Basic understanding of plumbing or maintenance (preferred but not essential)
Good attention to detail when recording findings
Ability to follow health & safety procedures
