Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Ice Cream Server/Driver to join our vibrant team. Must have a clean driving licence 25 and over and DBS check. This role involves serving customers with delicious ice cream treats and delivering orders efficiently within the local area. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is advantageous, but full training will be provided. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your culinary and customer service skills while contributing to a fun and dynamic team.

Duties

Serve ice cream and related products to customers in a courteous and professional manner
Prepare food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation
Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently
Assist with upselling additional products or promotions to enhance sales
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the serving area, adhering to food safety standard.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers efficiently
Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently during food preparation and serving processes

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
Familiarity with food safety practices and basic maths skills for handling transactions is advantageous
Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial in understanding food handling procedures
Strong time management skills are necessary to handle busy service periods effectively
Experience in upselling or promoting menu items can help maximise sales opportunities
