Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid lunch break)

About Us
Green Energy Solar is a growing renewable energy company specialising in the installation of solar PV systems, battery storage, and other energy-saving solutions. We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse & Logistics Operative to join our team and help support our installation teams.
The Role
This is a hands-on role based within our warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and preparing installation kits, issuing materials to our installers, managing stock, receiving deliveries, and helping ensure projects are supplied accurately and on time.
The role will also involve driving company vehicles to collect materials from suppliers and deliver equipment when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and preparing installation kits for upcoming projects.
- Issuing materials, tools, and equipment to installation teams.
- Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
- Maintaining accurate stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Assisting with stock takes and inventory management.
- Loading and unloading vehicles.
- Delivering materials to installation teams when required.
- Collecting materials and equipment from suppliers.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
- Following all company health and safety procedures.
What We're Looking ForEssential
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable driving company vans and collecting materials from suppliers.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable, punctual, and organised.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Good communication skills.
Desirable
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Previous warehouse, stores, logistics, or trade merchant experience.
- Experience using stock management systems.
- Knowledge of electrical, construction, solar, or renewable energy materials.
Additional Requirement
Applicants must be aged 25 or over due to the requirements of the company's vehicle insurance policy, as the role involves driving company vehicles.
