We are currently seeking an experienced *Site Manager* to oversee a major refurbishment and energy improvement project on a residential block in Barry, South Wales.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and hands-on Site Manager to join a growing contractor, with the potential for ongoing work and a permanent role following successful completion of the project.
## Project Overview
Works include refurbishment and energy efficiency upgrades to a 12-property residential block, including:
* Full roof replacement works
* Cavity wall insulation removal and reinstatement
* Wall tie replacement works
* Installation of a 36kW solar PV system
* Ventilation upgrades throughout occupied properties
* Soffits, fascias and rainwater goods replacement
* External communal lighting upgrades
* Fire break installations
* External brick cleaning and associated external works
## Key Responsibilities
* Day-to-day site management and coordination of all trades
* Managing health & safety on site and ensuring compliance at all times
* Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, residents and client representatives
* Coordinating programme delivery to meet project deadlines
* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and inspections
* Managing quality control and reporting progress to senior management
* Ensuring works are delivered to specification and within programme
## Requirements
* Valid *SMSTS qualification* (essential)
* Previous experience managing roofing, refurbishment or retrofit projects
* Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and site compliance
* Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and occupied residential environments
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* First Aid at Work and CSCS card preferred
