What we are looking for....
This role combines clinical support with front-desk responsibilities, ensuring a seamless experience for our patients from appointment scheduling to treatment assistance.
We are looking for a candidate with a positive work ethic, is patient focused and takes a problem-solving approach to work. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to forward plan and the motivation to help your colleagues and patients alike every day. We are a fully private practice that offers a variety of treatments to suit our patients needs. Most of our patients are private and need to be dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner. With the remaining patients on Denplan or another payment plan. We are fully recognised as a Denplan Excel practice and have been for many years.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a minimum of 2 years dental nurse experience in a private or NHS dental practice
- Be a qualified dental nurse
- Have proven experience in dental nursing or reception within a dental setting.
- Be used to working in a busy, patient facing role
- Have the ability to multi-task
- Have excellent communication skills in writing, on the phone and face-to-face
- Be passionate about excellent patient care/customer service
- Be proactive, motivated and organised
- Be reliable, professional, committed and well presented
- Have knowledge of SOE IT/Dentally dental software, although not essential as training will be provided
The position details are as follows:
Full-Time - Part Time Qualified Dental Nurse (depending on availability)
Based on 22.5 hours minimum per week
Pay Rate: from £15.00 per hour – this is negotiable for the right candidate
20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
