Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Junior Graphics Designer to join our team and assist in the preparation and production of high-quality artwork for sports kit. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and an understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, and wide-format printing (Roland Eco-Solvent printer). The role involves creating mock ups and working closely with customers, ensuring that the final product meets their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and production of high-quality artwork for sports kit, including numbers, names, initials and sponsor logos.
Collaborating with customers to understand their design needs and requirements.
Generating mock ups and communicating with customers via email or over the phone to chase up artwork and approve mock ups.
Assisting in the final Production of the sports kit, ensuring that the finished product meets the customer's expectations.
Generating and designing social media content, such as posts, advertisements, and graphics.
Opportunities to create fully custom bespoke designs for select local clubs, which may include creating logos, graphics, and other marketing materials.
Keeping up-to-date with the latest design trends and techniques, and incorporating these into your work.
Staying organized and maintaining accurate records of all projects, including details of customer requirements and approved mock ups.
Assisting in other graphic design tasks, as required, to support the team.

Requirements:

Basic understanding of Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Photoshop, and wide-format printing (Roland Eco-Solvent printer).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A creative and motivated individual with a passion for graphic design.

Assessment:

As part of the selection process, we will provide two tests for completion in the applicant's own time. The first test will involve taking a piece of artwork provided by a customer and making it print-ready. The second test will involve generating a social media post from a brief with all materials provided.

Training:

Training will be provided for the successful candidate.
