Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and dispensing of medications under supervision, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Support dispensers in stock management, including ordering, receiving, and storing medicines appropriately.
- Help with medication administration processes, ensuring compliance with protocols and legal requirements.
- Provide excellent patient care by answering queries, offering guidance on medication use, and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information in accordance with data protection regulations.
- Support the cleaning and organisation of dispensing areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills within pharmacy services.
Qualifications
- A strong interest in healthcare and pharmacy services.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or related role is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude towards patients.
- Organised with the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Willingness to undertake training and gain recognised qualifications through the apprenticeship programme.
